FAQ: When is a ratio transformer required when calibration my AC source?

A ratio transformer is required only when verifying output voltage readback to MIL-STD-45662A 4:1 test equipment ratio requirements. If you are not using the ratio transformer then you need to add a measurement uncertainty of 140mV to both the programming and readback verification numbers.
